Ironic Ain't It....?!

I had every intention of giving my issues with my job until the end of February and at that time I would make a decision on what my next step was, continue to wait it, leave voluntarily or see if would be laid off. Well......budget cuts came and my position along others was eliminated last week. Of course when you seek to leave you always want it to be on your own accord and terms:

• you have another job already in the works
• the economy doesn't suck
• the economy doesn't suck

I knew that it was a huge possibility that I would be one of those people. I worked from home for 3 weeks and Monday was my 1st day to physically be back in the office. As usual I worked from home on Tuesday but a little birdie gave me heads up that they were in the works to add folks to the unemployment line. I decided to go in to the office but before I did I left the unemployment filing website for my state open and waiting for me to start a claim. Momma ain't raise no fool. Needless to say I have had some free time to think, think, worry a little, be inundated with job postings from my mom ( luv u mommy), enjoy the kids and do what I desperately wanted to be doing with them, be midly irritated, focus on school and actually do the work ON TIME and get a nap which I haven't been able to do since before The Bean made his appearance. All in all, I stepped out on faith almost 2 years ago to the day and God blessed us immensely, amazing how faith is at my doorstep yet again. It's in your hands Lord.
